Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 / hour

ASC is looking for a Shipping Coordinator who prepares orders for shipment, including creating bill of lading (BOLS), scheduling pickups for freight carriers, and maintaining the Warehouse Management System. The Shipping Clerk will also assist with incorrect orders and work closely with the Warehouse Team on the floor to solve any discrepancies. This position will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Responsible for matching paperwork to prepare orders for shipment. Includes creating bills of lading and scheduling/coordination pickup as needed, for all freight.
• Responsible for coordinating all special project orders for pick-up and distribution, and special packaging needs including label processing.
• Must be a strong coordinator, use of verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Create customs documents for export shipments.
• Work with the Finance Department to resolve billing issues and open orders reports.
• Help maintain and manage the WMS system for all new order processing.
• Filing of all documents and organization of previously created BOL’s for ease of access and traceability of all shipments.
• Expedite orders and changes on packing list, cancellations, and addition.
• Various tasks to assist with day-to-day operations of planning and shipping.

• Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must possess good math skills.
• TMS (Traffic Management System) usage is necessary for creating BOLS, as well as use of WMS system.
• Other duties as necessary, including loading, dock work and prepping shipments. Utilization of powered industrial equipment and other warehouse functions such as picking or cycle counting may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
