As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will support access control for employees, visitors, and drivers, verify credentials, and help manage entry and exit for trucks and deliveries. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams.

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage access control by verifying identification and/or shipping documentation, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry and exit logs.
• Control and monitor gatehouse and/or lobby entry points, operate access control systems, and coordinate with onsite personnel for approvals and directions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, completing required notifications and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yard areas, warehouse corridors, and perimeter fencing to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
