Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Bruce Township, Michigan. In this role, you will manage essential financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and reconciliations. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for a long-term position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Process and enter invoices accurately and efficiently.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.

- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Utilize accounting software systems such as Service Titan and Foundation Software to perform bookkeeping tasks.

- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management.

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.

- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.

- Familiarity with accounting software systems like Service Titan and Foundation Software.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Solid understanding of financial principles and practices.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and resolve issues.

- Experience in bank reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
