Rapid Prototyping Controls Engineer

This role is a hands‑on Controls Engineer focused on rapid prototyping and HIL validation using Speedgoat / dSPACE Micro Auto Box platforms within an automotive embedded controls environment
. The engineer will operate at the intersection of MATLAB/Simulink model‑based design, real‑time ECU prototyping, bench/HIL commissioning, and CAN‑based calibration & diagnostics
.
The position is heavily execution‑oriented
, supporting prototype ECU bring‑up, validation, debugging, and customer‑facing commissioning
, with direct collaboration across OEM system engineers, offshore development teams, and validation groups
. This is not a theoretical modeling role—
bench ownership and real‑time debugging are non‑negotiable.
