Offer Description
The project aims to analyse, using a causal approach,the impact of female strategic leadership on the sustainable performance of companies operating indifferent countries. Specifically, data will be collected via databases on the presence ofwomen in top management positions within organisations, on environmental, social,economic and financial performance variables, as well as on shareholder letters and earnings conference calls. Interviews will also be conductedwith members of top management in companies, to encourage femalemanagers to make environmentally/socially sustainable choices.
The data collected will be analysedusing qualitative and quantitative methods. In the latter case, estimates and causal inferences will be made,and natural experiments will be analysed using econometric techniques. The project also includes dissemination activities and the writing of papers
