Do Work That Matters - Your Role and Responsibilities
Do you want to do work that is truly meaningful and impactful? At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, society, and colleagues tackle and solve the most current and complex challenges. Experts from Nolan Norton, an IT Strategy company within the KPMG Network, help organizations face digital transformation challenges and implement IT architectures. Specifically, you will join the CIO Advisory Team in Rome, experts in data management architectures and solutions that support CIOs in their digital evolution journey, from strategy to execution and from vision to real value.

You will be part of a dynamic and stimulating environment, working with high-level clients highly visible in the financial services, energy, public sector, and consumer and industrial markets.

Specifically, you will work on innovative technologies on challenging and exciting projects, supporting our clients mainly on the following topics :

Design of hybrid IT architectures

cloud and on-prem), scalable and secure, in complex application contexts

Support to CIOs

in defining technology roadmaps, capability models, and impact assessments on processes and organization

Governance of application portfolios, definition of architectural standards, and review of complex IT ecosystems

Analysis and evaluation of "make or buy" scenarios, strategic sourcing plans, and change management

Design of application integration solutions, API management, and application modernization (microservices, containers, Dev Ops)

Support in selecting technology solutions

in cloud, infrastructure, automation, and observability

Technical and logical modeling of architectures

with standard market tools

Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams in the end-to-end realization of solutions.

Come As You Are - Your Skills and Characteristics

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience

At least 3-4 years of experience in designing hybrid IT architectures (cloud and on-premise) in heterogeneous application contexts

Excellent analytical, modeling, and communication skills towards technical and business stakeholders

Knowledge of technical modeling tools (UML, Archi Mate, or similar)

Familiarity with architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and EA tools (Archi, LeanIX)

Skills in application integration and API management

Knowledge of CI / CD tools and Dev Ops methodology

Knowledge of key technologies in Observability, Automation, Infrastructure as Code, Container, and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience in designing and implementing Serverless solutions and event-driven architectures

Networking and security skills in cloud environments

In-depth knowledge of at least one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, MS Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM Cloud)

Knowledge of the English language, ideally deepened through educational / work experience abroad.

Possession of one or more of the following certifications is considered a preferential requirement :
