Hyatt Thompson Rome is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic  Commis de Rang  to join our Food & Beverage team.
This role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional eager to grow within a luxury lifestyle environment, supporting service operations while delivering warm, attentive, and high-quality guest experiences. The Commis de Rang works closely with the Chef de Rang and service team to ensure smooth operations and consistent service standards across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities
Service Operations
Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in assigned outlets
Assist in seating guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages according to established service sequences and procedures
Present menus, answer guest inquiries, and provide basic recommendations on food and beverages
Clear and reset tables and service areas efficiently during and after service
Ensure mise en place, cleanliness, and readiness of the service station

Guest Experience
Maintain positive and professional interactions with guests and colleagues
Deliver friendly, attentive, and service-oriented experiences in line with Hyatt brand standards
Support special events and high-volume service periods as required
Contribute to guest satisfaction through attention to detail and teamwork

Standards & Compliance
Adhere to hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times
Ensure proper personal presentation and grooming in line with hotel policies
Be familiar with the Micros system and support its correct use during service
Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and assist with upselling under supervision

Candidate Profile
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a hotel or quality restaurant environment
Strong interest in Food & Beverage service and lifestyle hospitality
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure
Team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of French is a plus

What You Will Do
Reporting to the  Maître , you will support daily outlet operations with energy and professionalism, contributing to exceptional service delivery and memorable guest experiences while developing your skills within a structured luxury hospitality environment.
