Overview
Within the Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) private bank, we are seeking an Investment Advisor for the Investment Advisory team based in Milan (IT). You will provide advice and ensure proactive and personalized follow-up of a client portfolio, acting as a technical expert on financial markets. You will be in regular contact with both clients and private bankers to offer investment and asset allocation advice.
Responsibilities
Ensure portfolio management and trading/execution under advisory mandates, generating quality performance to meet client expectations.
Monitor and analyze financial markets in order to gain precise insight into investment opportunities and generate investment ideas.
Support and assist private bankers in their commercial activities, bringing your expertise to ensure the growth of assets under advisory mandates.
Generate multi-platform investment proposals for clients and bankers of the EDR Group.
Actively contribute and participate in strategic and tactical allocation committees.
Contribute to the profitability and growth of assets under management.
Instruct and supervise management actions, and perform operational follow-up of accounts under advisory management.
Qualifications / Profile
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in portfolio management or advisory management.
Initial training: MSc in Finance; CFA charter preferred.
Deep knowledge of multi-asset products (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments) and banking regulations.
Solid knowledge of key macroeconomic and market indicators.
Previous experience with HNWI or institutional clients.
Italian native speaker with high proficiency in English. Mastery of any other language (French especially) is a plus.
Extensive familiarity with financial information software and mastery of MS Office tools and VBA programming.
Impeccable ethics and discretion.
Critical thinking, analysis and synthesis skills, and writing abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Autonomy, adaptability, rigor, organizational skills, and strong listening abilities.
