Assistant ship

Position: Assistant ship 2025-2026
Art and Design, Education and/or Teacher Training, Humanities  We are looking for an assistant teacher for our school from 1 to 3 months during school year .
The school is a public school in Capannori - Lucca located in the center of Italy (Tuscany). It's well-connected to airports (Pisa and Florence), trains and bus lines to the main cities nearby. Our institute has an Erasmus Accreditation until 2027 and in November 2025 we'll have a group mobility in Hungary, in February 2026 in Portugal and in May 2026 in Spain.

We will host pupils from a village near Madrid. Our main tasks are inclusion, active citizenship and digital citizenship. Our institute has 4 infant schools, 3 primary school and 1 Secondary School; children are aged from 3 to 12. We aim to increase the multicultural and plurilingual competence of our school community (students, teachers, families...) thanks to English Language Assistants, which will help us boost the English language as a communication and learning tool.

The person is required to have a good English and speak and use this language with all the school community members at all times.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, energetic, resourceful, and open-minded person.
We are a very welcoming school, we are flexible regarding the internship's timetable and dates but expect a minimum of 3 months stay.
The primary school schedule is 8:15 – 16:15 (breakfast break 10:30-11/ lunch break 12:30-14:00).
PEOPLE applying must have previous EXPERIENCE IN EDUCATION.
SCHOOL is CLOSED July - August!
