This Digital Opportunities Traineeship tailored for students or recent graduates focused on art, communication, and cultural heritage. Applicants must be based in one of the 33 Programme Countries participating in Erasmus+ or the Horizon 2020 Associated Countries.

Part‑Time (≈ 22 hours/week)
Program Year: 2026 (availability January–December)
Description
The role supports staff at a museum renowned for a manuscript inscribed by UNESCO’s “Memory of the World” list (2015). The internship takes place in Rossano, Calabria, the “Byzantine Pearl”.
Responsibilities
Assist museum staff during opening hours
Staff the ticket office, bookshop and other facilities
Run guided tours in English and the native language
Support educational activities, presentations and workshops
Translate brochures, catalogues and museum information into the native language
Create and develop educational resources for visitors, schools, families and special interest groups
Collaborate in organizing events such as seminars, conferences and exhibitions
Skills & Qualifications
Educational background in history, art, cultural heritage or related disciplines
Experience in managing educational activities with children and teenagers
Creativity for developing art initiatives and workshops
Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse visitors
Self‑motivation, independent work and teamwork
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet research
Comfort with digital technology, social media, mobile devices and other media
Basic Italian language skills (A2)
Level of studies:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Typical working schedule: 22 hours per week, flexible shifts of 3–4 hours/day

Additional Information
The museum is managed by “Insieme per Camminare”, a cultural association that offers guided tours across the Sybaris plain and organizes exhibitions, conventions, concerts, book presentations, and educational activities.
