Duration: 5 months

Epic Sicily is a fast growing incoming tour operator based in Palermo. We design and sell authentic travel experiences focused on culture, food, nature and local life across Sicily.

We are looking for a proactive and reliable intern who will support our daily operations with a strong focus on digital content and customer communication.

This is not a theoretical internship. You will work inside a real tourism business and see how bookings, platforms, content and customer service are managed on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Assisting with customer support via email and messaging platforms

Supporting pre‑sales communication and tour information

Helping manage booking platforms (availability updates, basic content edits)

Creating and editing short form content for social media

Writing captions and improving English texts

Supporting internal organization and operational tasks

Qualifications

Excellent English (written and spoken)

Organized and detail oriented

Proactive and willing to learn

Interest in tourism, travel and communication

About the Team & Experience
We are a young and relaxed team. The working environment is friendly, informal and collaborative. We believe tourism should be dynamic and creative, and we try to keep the same spirit inside the company. The internship is structured but flexible. Working hours can be adapted, and there is plenty of free time to explore Sicily, enjoy Palermo, travel around the island and fully live the Erasmus experience.

Tourism is an exciting industry. You will meet travelers from all over the world, work with local providers, and experience the city from a different perspective. The role is operational, but it is also fun, fast paced and varied. We value autonomy, positive attitude and curiosity more than rigid corporate behavior. We do not offer accommodation, but we are happy to provide guidance and support in finding housing in Palermo.
