Pay Range $23.65 - $35.50
Major Responsibilities- Administers OTC and prescription medications
- Provide basic first aid
- CPR training for staff
- Manage healthcare needs such as Asthma, Diabetes and Epilepsy as examples
- Develop and maintain relations with parents and stakeholders in the schools
- Document in Power School and keep medical information update
- Reviews and updates immunization and health records at the school
Current RN licensure in the State the teammate practices

Working Conditions:
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols with vision and hearing within normal range to respond to Code alerts and equipment alarms. Work-related stress due to volume and time constraints with irregular working hours.

Administers nursing care under the guidelines of school systems in the area of support. Participates in the implementation and evaluation of student care. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of students and adult staff onsite. Manages illness and control of infectious diseases; implements immunization programs; provides school-based lectures on personal, social, and health care education, and assists teachers in dealing with children who have special healthcare needs such as asthma, diabetes and epilepsy as examples.
