Job Description

$15,000 Sign On Bonus – For eligible candidates.
As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation, interviews, physical examinations and gather vital signs, identifying physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data, setting SMART goals in collaboration with patients, families, and teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely, including oral, intravenous, and intramuscular routes, and perform medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy.
  • Provide patient and family education about health conditions, treatments, and self‑care, delivering tailored educational materials and programs, and offering discharge instructions and follow‑up plans.
  • Advocate for patient health and safety by liaising with the healthcare system, protecting patient rights and confidentiality, and securing necessary resources.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, engaging in unit‑based quality improvement, evidence‑based practice, and research initiatives to enhance outcomes.
Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Required). Additional certifications that strengthen your candidacy include:

  • Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
  • Certified Med‑Surg Nurse (CMSRN)
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN)
  • Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN)
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM)
  • Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC‑OB)
  • Low‑Risk Neonatal Nursing (RNCLRN)
  • Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNCMNN)
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNCNIC)
  • Neonatal Med Certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Oncology Nurse Society (ONS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification

Pay Range: $31.44 - $54.92 per hour.
