- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- Mostly adults, will occasionally see pediatric patients (peds experience not required). Inpatients, outpatients
- CHF, shortness of breath, valve disorders, pre/post surgery, pre/post cath,
- Unless ICU, patients will be brought down to the department for studies. Outpatient also done here.
- No open hearts here at this time
- Required License, National Certification, Certs: BLS, ARDMS (will not accept CCI)
- Skills required:
- Standard echo skills, strain imaging, 3D measurements, bubble studies, stress echoes, TEEs (some done in the OR), Definity contrast
