Where You Will Work:
Atrium Health Floyd Chattooga SAEDis a 9-bed freestanding emergency department serving a rural community. The facility provides comprehensive emergency evaluation, stabilization, and treatment for patients experiencing illness or injury. For patients requiring advanced care—such as those with traumatic or life‑threatening conditions, transfers can be arranged to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center or another appropriate facility via Atrium Health Floyd Emergency Medical Services or by air ambulance.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Emergency Room experience is preferred
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

The Atrium Health Floyd Chattooga Emergency Department, a facility of Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, is open 24/7 to stabilize and care for life‑threatening injuries and illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes, breathing problems and accidents. The facility is staffed 24/7 by an on-site board-certified physician.
