Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Join our dynamic and collaborative Cardiac Step-Down Unit
, a 34-bed progressive care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.

Primary Patient Population (60%)
  • Cardiac procedural patients (e.g., cardiac catheterization, echocardiograms)
  • Pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgical patients
  • Progressive care/step-down level monitoring and interventions
Secondary Patient Population (40%)
  • Cardiology and pulmonology patients
  • General medical/surgical patients requiring intermediate care
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and higher acuity patients in the critical care area
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects
Qualifications
  • Current RN license in the state of GA
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
