Position: Federal Work Study - Media Innovation Center - Film Studies
Job Summary

Preform various duties related to Film Studies and Humanities area.

Must be a current GHC student and must be Financial Aid eligible

Responsibilities

* Produce media for and Film Studies and other Humanities associated endeavors

* Organize and maintain video production equipment in the Media Innovation Center

* Assist in communications and planning of events

* Administrative duties and record keeping

* Communicate with filmmakers and community partners

* Recruit and organize student volunteers for events

* Create and manage social media assets

* Support the operations of events related to Humanities such as the Rome International Film Festival and GHC's Writing Conference.

Required Qualifications

* Experience sufficient in administrative duties, verbal and written communications, event planning and support, various levels of media production.

* Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated

* Must be Pell Grant eligible (FAFSA)

* Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

* Must have an unmet need based on total cost of attendance of student

* Must be current GHC Student

Proposed Salary

$12 per hour

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Preferred experience in communications and planning, video production, and general office administrative skills

* Video Editing

* Knowledge of Word Processing and Spreadsheet software, ability to communicate on various digital platforms.

* Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions

* Skill in oral and written communication
