Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manager of Computer Operations to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This leadership position will be located in Rolling Meadows, IL; please note that the candidate selected for this position will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Rolling Meadows, IL campus - this is not a remote work opportunity.

This position will be responsible for the functional management of an integrated team of systems administrators, network engineers, desktop technicians, and Information Systems Security Professionals (ISSOs/ISSMs) within the Security organization supporting the classified infrastructures within the MS Targeting and Surveillance (T&S) Division.

Essential Functions:

* This position requires leadership and organization focus in order to deliver and support a geographically dispersed team.

* Interface with the T&S Division Industrial Security POC, CIDO Program Managers, and with Division program managers.

* Integrate IA and IT team members into a cohesive, high performing team.

* Plan, execute, and report on several organizational metrics designed to ensure 100% compliance with Government regulations to include the RMF, JSIG, and other compliance requirements.

* Focus on technology improvements, automations, and standardizations.

* Provide functional leadership to managers and staff while ensuring that vacant positions are staffed and employees are provided with challenging assignments and training opportunities.

* Collaborate with peers in MS Classified Solutions and across other NG Sectors to promote standards and information sharing.

Basic Qualifications:

* Associate's degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 16 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.

* Applicants must have a current DoD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, or must be enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP), in order to be considered; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

* The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance as a condition of continued employment.

* 5+ years of prior management and leadership experience.
