Essential responsibilities include:

• Action‑Oriented Performance Monitoring:
• In collaboration with the client and internal teams, develop custom reports/KPI dashboards that drive actionable insights.
• Package insights from analyses into highly polished presentations for internal and external stakeholders and/or executive teams.
• Deep Dive / Root Cause Analysis:
• Conduct hypothesis‑driven, exhaustive analyses of metrics with material variance vs. historical trends and/or benchmarks.
• Analyses deliver targeted recommendations and actions.
• Bespoke Analysis and Reporting:
• Expedited delivery (often same day) of reports and/or answers to ad‑hoc questions.
• Expert help with optimizing and configuring the client’s risk management information system.
• Impact on Outcomes:
• Close connection with both Gallagher Bassett Client Services and Claims Operations to translate analytical insights into actions that drive superior outcomes.

Preferred Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of fundamental claim concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to think critically and break down complex business problems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as needed.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus if you possess enterprise analytics skills (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau); however these skills are not required and can be taught on the job.
• Bonus if you possess a Master’s/MBA degree (not required).

Required:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years professional experience with quantitative analysis. Less than 20% travel.

Preferred:
Master’s/MBA degree; strong academic credentials. Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Access or enterprise database programs a plus.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors, including but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, line of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
