Lecturer (Instructor)

Job Description

The Lecturer (Instructor) will be expected to:

  • Offer and teach an 8‑week I‑Corps course in fall, spring, and summer semesters
  • Mentor the teams – PhD students, postdocs, and faculty – enrolled in the I‑Corps course to succeed in the local, regional (hub), and national cohorts
  • Help increase the innovation and entrepreneurship credentials of Missouri S&T
  • Mentor the teams to win various innovation and entrepreneurship‑related grants from the NSF such as national I‑Corps, TTP, SBIR/STTR, as well as other federal agencies and private sources
Qualifications

The candidate must have industry and academic experience, be familiar with the I‑Corps program, and be an expert in customer discovery process.
