Healthcare Management, Operations Manager
VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County is look for their next Office Manager.
In this role you will be supporting hospital operations by leading administrative functions, ensuring excellent client service, and helping the team deliver high-quality patient care. This role oversees client service workflows, finances, staff scheduling, training, and general office operations to keep the hospital running smoothly.

What You’ll DoLead, coach, and support client service and administrative Associates
Oversee scheduling, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development
Support conflict resolution, client de-escalation, and positive team culture
Ensure smooth client flow and address non-medical client concerns
Manage office operations, supplies, phone systems, and basic IT troubleshooting
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and hospital protocols
Oversee financial processes including budgeting, purchasing, deposits, account receivable, and billing
Partner with leadership on marketing efforts, social media, and digital presence
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years supervisory experience in a client-facing role
3+ years experience in finance or accounting
Experience in the veterinary industry, preferred
Experience in emergency or specialty veterinary & marketing, preferred
Ability to lift 40 lbs, work on your feet, and handle a fast-paced environment
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and relevant credentials. The
base salary range for this full-time position is $68,000 –$75,000. This role requires flexibility with scheduling, including availability on weekends.
