Nurse Practitioner, Hourly, Temporary — Sonoma State University, Student Health Center (SHC), Sonoma.
The Role- Deliver direct care to students as a vital member of the SHC team.
- Report to the Associate Director of the Student Health Center and the Lead Physician.
- Contribute to department planning, quality improvement initiatives, committee participation, and outreach efforts.
- Support high-quality health services and the health and success of SSU students.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of California with national board certification.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic health records.
- Experience in higher education and an interest in serving students from historically marginalized communities is highly preferred.
Starting salary placement is anticipated to be in the range of $60 to $74.72 per hour. This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt position. Reappointment depends on performance and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate the appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
