Position: Nurse Practitioner, Hourly, Temporary

Overview

Nurse Practitioner, Hourly, Temporary — Sonoma State University, Student Health Center (SHC), Sonoma.

The Role
  • Deliver direct care to students as a vital member of the SHC team.
  • Report to the Associate Director of the Student Health Center and the Lead Physician.
  • Contribute to department planning, quality improvement initiatives, committee participation, and outreach efforts.
  • Support high-quality health services and the health and success of SSU students.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of California with national board certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic health records.
  • Experience in higher education and an interest in serving students from historically marginalized communities is highly preferred.
Salary and Benefits

Starting salary placement is anticipated to be in the range of $60 to $74.72 per hour. This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt position. Reappointment depends on performance and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate the appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
