Job Summary:
The Small Parcel / Shipping Technician is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused while managing multiple tasks throughout the day. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and able to maintain accuracy while meeting daily shipping deadlines. This position plays a key role in ensuring orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.

• Package and prepare small parcel orders for shipment
• Process outgoing shipments according to company procedures
• Label, verify, and organize packages for carrier pickup
• Perform occasional order picking to support shipping operations
• Ensure orders are accurate and meet customer and carrier requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Follow shipping schedules and daily production priorities
• Use basic computer systems to track orders and shipments
• Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervisors
• Follow all safety and workplace policies

Qualifications:

• Prior shipping, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic computer skills

Working Conditions:
This position operates in a warehouse and shipping environment. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Moderate noise levels may be present, and adherence to safety procedures is required. Employees work in a structured, deadline-driven setting.
