Warehouse Lead TW

Position Summary

Warehouse/Production Team Leader responsible for coordinating activities of workers in aluminum plate saw processing including pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders.

• Assigns duties and monitors work for accuracy and performance.
• Leads the team in scheduling orders, expediting critical shipments, and maintaining on‑time performance.
• Establishes and maintains rapid turnaround and short lead times.
• Manages routine equipment maintenance for the production cell, follows TW Corporate guidelines, and promotes a highly safe, efficient work environment.
• Supports Branch Management in fostering a positive employee culture, continuous improvement mindset, and excellence in customer service.
• Provides written and oral work direction to the warehouse team.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
• Addresses errors and complaints in a timely manner.
• Operates in supervisory role.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; experience in metals industry helpful.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English; interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work effectively with common PC programs such as Excel and Word; ability to learn mainframe program (Metalware).
