Job Description

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all stages of the project life cycle. This role requires creating and managing project budgets, maintaining project schedules, managing the RFI and submittal processes, conducting project buyouts, and managing subcontracts. You will also be responsible for maintaining client and subcontractor relationships, cost management and reporting, resolving issues, managing project staff, and ensuring a smooth project closeout process.

Responsibilities

* Oversee all stages of the project life cycle.

* Create and manage project budgets.

* Create and maintain project schedules.

* Manage the RFI and submittal processes.

* Conduct project buyout.

* Manage subcontracts.

* Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.

* Handle cost management and reporting.

* Resolve project-related issues.

* Manage project staff.

* Oversee the project closeout process.

Essential Skills

* 5+ years of experience in commercial project management from a general contractor.

* Strong organizational and project management skills.

* Comprehensive understanding of construction plans and specifications.

* Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

* Strong math and analytical skills.

* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience in estimating and tenant improvement.

* Thorough understanding of commercial construction.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Rogers, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
