Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all functional areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, union and employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and compliance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and passionate about building a career in HR.

The intern will support daily HR operations and contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience while learning how HR supports both union and non-union employees in the construction industry.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

** Assist with compliance-related tasks such as I-9 verification and policy updates.

Conduct HR audits (e.g., I-9s, personnel files, and union records) to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
** REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
** Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Exposure to all facets of Human Resources.

Develop skills in recruiting, onboarding, compensation analysis, employee relations, and compliance. Build knowledge of union workforce dynamics and labor agreements. Experience HR’s role in supporting safety-first culture and business growth.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee
