About the RoleAs a Territory Sales Manager, you will manage and grow Credit Acceptance’s presence within an assigned geographic territory. This is a field‑based, outside sales role where you act as a trusted advisor to automotive dealerships—building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving results.
Residence within or near the assigned territory is required.
What You’ll Do- Build and manage relationships with automotive dealerships in your territory
- Prospect and onboard new dealer partners to expand market presence
- Consult with dealers to help improve performance and profitability
- Own and manage your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Conduct in-person dealership visits and presentations
- Analyze territory performance and adjust strategies to meet goals
- Partner with internal teams to support dealer success
- Experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, or relationship-driven roles
- Strong consultative selling and communication skills
- Comfort working independently in a field-based environment
- Motivation to hit goals and continuously improve performance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Automotive, auto finance, or dealership experience
- B2B outside sales background
- Approximately 80% local travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel (typically less than 10%).
- $111,450 Base Salary + Uncapped Monthly Commission
- Quarterly profit sharing
