Overview
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.
Responsibilities- Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers
- Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
- Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
- Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
- Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
- Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
- Minimum of 0-1+ years of professional experience in a sales/cold call setting
- Track and trace experience
- Related experience in transportation
