Join Whole Foods Market as a Grocery Order Writer. This full‑time position is located in Rogers, AR and is scheduled to begin in early 2026.

$15.50/hr – $29.20/hr

• Complete Order Writer training.
• Replenish products through proper buying procedures.
• Order perishable and/or non‑perishable grocery products and maintain appropriate back‑stock levels.
• Monitor and act upon open PO reports for purchases and credits in an accurate and timely manner.
• Control spoilage/shrink; participate in inventory and cycle counting.
• Complete spoilage and all other inventory management processes, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Ensure orders for product are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Oversee customer special‑order procedures.
• Analyze and control product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Support leadership in conducting inventories.
• Maintain financial profitability by meeting and exceeding purchasing and sales targets.
• Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive‑selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follow and comply with, or ensure compliance, with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain, or ensure maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with Whole Foods Market cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

• Comprehensive knowledge of grocery products.
• Working knowledge and application of all grocery merchandising expectations.
• Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ordering systems.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills.

12+ months retail experience.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In an 8‑hour work day: standing/walking 6‑8 hours.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: below 32°F (freezing), 32‑40°F (refrigerators), above 90°F.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

The wage range for this position is $15.50–$29.20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
