What You Will Do
  • Work cooperatively with management, team members, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Maintain open communications with all team members in the plant; meet with the Supervisor regularly to ensure all issues are properly handled and addressed.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and workspace in a designated area of the plant.
  • Ensure team members in assigned area are completing job tasks to QA and USDA standards; inspect equipment to ensure all areas are clean for pre-op inspections.
  • Handle chemicals to ensure usage is within specified limits.
  • Monitor and provide personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your Must Haves
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Leadership and decision‑making skills are required.
  • Six or more months of experience in sanitation and/or food processing industry.
  • Ability to take direction and instruction from manager and be accountable for own actions.
  • Safety awareness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations.
Our Environment

This position would involve you being in a wet, hot, and/or cold environment, while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”). Shift may vary depending on location.
