Cook; Non-Exempt

Overview

This individual is responsible for food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye-appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  None.
• Licensure:
  Food Handler within 180 days.
• Experience:
  
  2 or more years of food service experience preferred.
• Other:
  Skills, knowledge and abilities – Excellent integrity;
  Takes initiative;
  Good moral character;
  Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written;
  Basic Math Skills;
  Time Management Skills;
  Great interpersonal skills.

  Physical Requirements:
  
  Equipment Used – All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer. Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
