The Beverage Floor Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and execution of beverage service operations across assigned bar locations within the venue. This role provides frontline leadership to bartenders, barbacks, and support staff while ensuring operational readiness, product availability, service standards, and compliance with alcohol service regulations. The Beverage Floor Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact during events for beverage service execution, inventory control, staff performance, and issue resolution, ensuring a safe, efficient, and fan-focused experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

The RoleDuties & Responsibilities
- Supervise day-of-event beverage operations across multiple bar locations within assigned zones
- Lead, direct, and support bartenders and barbacks to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant beverage service
- Assign positions, conduct pre-shift briefings, and ensure staff are prepared with product knowledge and service expectations
- Oversee bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness standards before, during, and after events
- Monitor alcohol service to ensure compliance with Smart Serve requirements and venue alcohol policies
- Address service issues, fan concerns, and operational challenges in real time using approved service recovery practices
- Ensure accurate handling, storage, rotation, and replenishment of beverage inventory and supplies
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Beverage Management, and Operations teams regarding product needs and shortages
- Monitor POS usage, cashless payment processes, and adherence to PCI compliance requirements
- Enforce food safety, health & safety, and workplace conduct standards at all times
- Observe employee performance and provide coaching, direction, and corrective feedback as required
- Document and escalate incidents, safety concerns, or policy violations in accordance with company procedures
- Support training and onboarding of new beverage team members, including barbacks transitioning into bartending roles
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall venue operations
- Strong working knowledge of beverage service operations, bar workflows, and alcohol service regulations
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Solid understanding of inventory control, product handling, and stock rotation practices
- Effective communication and conflict-resolution skills with both staff and fans
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations simultaneously
- Ability to make sound, real-time operational decisions during peak service periods
- Working knowledge of POS systems and cashless payment environments
- Understanding of food safety, health & safety, and workplace compliance requirements
- Professional demeanor with a strong focus on service standards and operational accountability
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field considered an asset
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or event-based environment
