We are seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for Rogers Medical Clinic located in Rogers, AR. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Some experience working in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities- Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic.
- Responds to and directs incoming patient calls in a timely and courteous manner, maintaining professionalism and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
- Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts, and collections are balanced daily.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
- Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
