Financial Accountant AP/AR

Location: Roermond
Hours per week: 40
Salary: €4,000-€5,100 depending on experience

Bring structure, stability and improvement to our financial processes - and lead a close-knit team in a dynamic production environment. As a Financial Accountant AP/AR, you play a key role in our finance organisation. You guide a team of eight professionals, ensure reliable financial processes, and actively contribute to further professionalisation. You combine strong people skills with solid finance expertise and feel at home in a production environment where goods flows are complex and SAP is central.

• Lead, coach and develop the AP/AR team (8 people).
• Support daily activities, including sales invoices, self-billing and resolving discrepancies.
• Review and approve debit and credit notes.
• Validate commission calculations and related invoicing.
• Ensure an accurate month-end closing in line with internal procedures.
• Monitor and follow up on IFRS and SOX controls.
• Update Finance & Control procedures annually.
• Support the Financial Controller with analyses and reporting.
• Act as back-up for the Financial Accountant CM/GL.
• Take initiative in process improvements and contribute to the ongoing professionalisation of Finance.

• A completed degree in business economics, accountancy, or business administration.
• At least 5 years of finance experience, preferably in a production or industrial environment.
• Experience with SAP and SAP BI (required).
• Knowledge of IFRS and SOX is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills in English;
  Dutch is an advantage.
• A calm, structured way of working, combined with a proactive mindset to make processes smoother.
• Leadership qualities: coaching, connecting, and team-oriented.
