• Base pay range: $15.00/hr – $21.00/hr
• Pay is determined by skills and experience. Discuss details with a recruiter.

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Prepare a variety of foods, such as sandwiches, wraps, and trays, according to customer orders following approved procedures.
• Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and meats, to prepare for cooking or serving.
• Follow Heinen’s planning, packaging, and merchandising standards.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the Kitchen Department.
• Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
• Write orders using effective software and planning tools.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing (weekly and special orders), stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Minimal supervision required.
• Production‑driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing.
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
• Work comfortably in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees.
• Willingness to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with occasional additional time.
• Willingness to work a non‑traditional five‑day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.

Sunday‑Saturday 6:00 am–8:30 pm; days and hours vary. Up to 29 hrs per week.
