Meadow Falls of Rocky River is a resident‑centered assisted living community dedicated to providing compassionate, high‑quality care to seniors in a warm, supportive environment. We are seeking an experienced and engaged Assistant Director of Nursing to support our nursing leadership team and help ensure the highest standards of care.
Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a key leadership role in supporting the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing clinical operations, ensuring compliance, promoting high‑quality resident care, supervising staff, and fostering a positive team culture. This position requires strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and a passion for working with older adults.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the DON with planning, organizing, and directing the nursing team and overall clinical operations.
Support clinical assessment, care planning, documentation, and quality assurance programs.
Conduct resident assessments and ensure service plans are accurate and up to date.
Oversee medication management practices and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to nursing and caregiving staff.
Participate in onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Monitor infection control practices and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with families, physicians, hospice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
Step in for the DON during absences, as needed.
Current, active LPN or RN license in the state of [State].
Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience, preferably in assisted living, long‑term care, memory care, or similar settings.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience highly preferred.
Strong understanding of assisted living regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
