Cargo Transporters, Inc. is hiring a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The driver will deliver freight with average 2,400 miles or more per week and home weekly. Cargo Transporters is a family owned and operated leader in dry van truckload transportation, specializing in time-definite/expedited service and known for exceptional service delivery. We are one of the largest regional trucking companies in Western North Carolina, with a fleet of more than 500 professional drivers delivering no-touch freight to customers across the continental US.

• Average Pay (miles only): $75,000 annually; $1,450 weekly
• Standard Pay with base rate: 60 CPM with average of 2,400 miles or more per week
• Productivity bonus: 3 CPM after hitting 2,400 miles plus 7 paid company holidays and 15+ days of accrued PTO
• Other Pay:
  Layover Pay, Extra pick-up/drop Pay, Federal Per diem pay (optional), Detention Pay ($20/hr after 2 hours), NYC Borough Pay ($125; no forced dispatch to NYC)
• Holiday Pay: $770 per year
• Driver Referral Bonus: up to $2,500 with payout milestones
• Safety Bonus: 1 CPM for all miles driven (annual; criteria must be met)
• Clean Inspection Bonus: $50–$100 based on results

• Amenities:
  In-cab refrigerator, idle optimization, 1500W inverter, navigation, Drivewyze bypass, EZ-Pass toll transponders
• 53’ trailers; governed speed 65 mph
• Safety:
  Dual-facing cameras, driver monitoring systems

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid CDL A license
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• DOT physical and regulatory compliance; FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
• Pass non-DOT hair follicle test and DOT pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check
• No at-fault DOT reportable accidents in the last 3 years
• No DUIs in the last 5 years
• No recently flagged careless/reckless driving convictions (past 3 years)
