Position Summary:

Your role is essential to keeping our fresh food department running smoothly. You will stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, ensure temperature controls, and provide customer service in the deli section. Your work supports our members’ shopping experiences and keeps product ready for sale.

You will make an impact by:

• Ensuring high‑quality products are taken care of and available for our members.
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality food products.
• Packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stocking displays.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining facility safety by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Maintaining the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area in accordance with company policies and procedures, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation.
• Providing member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Following company policies related to the freezer/cooler area by complying with food handling policies, operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment, following cold‑chain procedures, cleaning the area, monitoring freezer/cooler fans and drains, and reporting issues to management.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage range: $16.00 – $23.00; actual rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location.
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply.
