Job Responsibilities:
+ Perform standard testing processes on various equipment ; record and analyze results.
+ Use precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment for assembly, inspections , calibration, and testing of hydro-mechanical fuel controls.
+ Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
+ Work from electronic instructions, engineering and quality procedures, blueprints, and specifications.
+ Inspect parts and products for quality ; report defects and initiate corrective actions.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and records.
+ Keep work areas organized per Visual Management and 5S standards.
+ Participate in daily Tier meetings, continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities .
+ Ability to lift over 30 lbs and work in environments with machine, chemical, or physical risks.
+ Must be able to work overtime, including weekends.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to follow detailed assembly/test instructions and interpret blueprints.
+ Skilled in using precision measuring devices (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.).
+ Proficient with hand tools.
+ Intermediate math skills.
+ Basic computer skills (MS Office, internet navigation).
+ Mechanical and technical experience required.
+ Computer skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Desired
Qualifications:
+ 2-3 years in an assembly/test manufacturing environment.
+ North Carolina Work Keys Career Readiness Certificate (Silver or Gold).
+ Six Sigma training or certification.
+ Associate's degree.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience in aerospace production environments.
+ Familiarity with 5S principles and continuous improvement activities.
