Warehouse Materials Inventory Coordinator

Position Overview

As the Materials Inventory Coordinator, reporting to the Materials Manager, you will work with associated documentation, complete tasks alone and in teams, manage multiple inventories, and report to and advise company management on updates and issues.

This person should be detail‑oriented, exceptionally organized, able to manage complex systems, has excellent communication, math and analytical skills, and relevant computer software know‑how. Excellent time‑management skills, and knowledge in organizational techniques. Ideal candidates will also be able to work extended hours if needed and have experience in building strong working relationships.

• Meet supply chain objectives.
• Manage inventory and filing systems.
• Perform complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies twice a year.
• Oversee teams of inventory workers.
• Assess and improve flows of supplies through companies.
• Ensure all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
• Identify, analyze and address gaps in inventory processes and report them to management.
• May be expected to fill in as an equipment operator from time to time. This could include pulling pick lists, receiving and putting away inbound loads, processing returns, and general housekeeping.

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Excellent Customer Service experience.
• Detail‑Oriented and excellent time management skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
  
  Experience with Microsoft Office.

• Forklift Operator Certification.
• ERP/WMS‑Specific Experience.
• Associate’s degree beneficial.
