Overview
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Rocky Hill, CT.
ImpactComplete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
Completes complex internal engine repairs
Performs engine overhauls unassisted (Preferred)
Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, CertificationsApprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred). Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, locally valid driving permit (Preferred).
ExperienceIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
