Field Service TechnicianPosition Summary:
We are seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to join our team of Field Service Technicians. You will be responsible for the installation, training, customer service, diagnostics, and repair of our Plastic Injection Molding Machines. This role requires the ability to act independently and to identify and implement solutions with strong knowledge and technical ability.
Field Service TechnicianKey Responsibilities:
- Installation of new injection molding machines and subsequent customer training.
- Independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing highly sophisticated injection molding machines.
- Installing Robotics / Automation Systems.
- Rebuilding and modifying molding machines according to factory specifications.
- Assisting with process optimization according to customer requirements.
- Providing technical hotline support.
Required:
- Electrically trained, capable of hydraulic troubleshooting with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mechanical experience is required.
- Preferred candidates will have a 2-year Associate’s degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Additional comprehensive training will be provided at our headquarters in Lossburg, Germany.
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in Field Service or Manufacturing utilizing a high degree of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnosis and knowledge.
- Must be able to read and decipher electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Plastic processing knowledge required.
Position Requirements :
- High level of travel required during the work week; most via a provided service vehicle, some flights as needed.
- Following an intensive factory-based training program, including one to three months of highly specialized and technical instruction at our world headquarters in Lossburg, Germany, individuals will be stationed at various locations in the Midwest, Northeast, and West Coast to meet the demands of our growing customer base.
Compensation is hourly and dependent upon experience. We have positions for varying degrees of experience, from brand new technician to senior level. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Per Hour
