Overview
Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) at Numotion, North America’s largest provider of mobility products and services. The position focuses on evaluating, recommending, and providing customized Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) to meet client needs, working with clients, families, therapists, and physicians to maximize independence and quality of life.
Pay range: $45,000 to $70,000 base salary plus commission. Compensation decisions depend on skills, qualifications, experience and location.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals based on therapist assessment findings and physician orders, including physical abilities, environmental factors, and lifestyle considerations.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists - PT, OT, SLP, clients, and caregivers) to develop individualized plans of care to achieve client mobility goals.
- Recommend appropriate CRT equipment and interventions based on the client’s identified needs and mobility goals.
- Manage and facilitate efficient procurement processes from equipment specification through delivery.
- Apply clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills in a needs analysis of complex mobility issues for individuals with various disabilities.
- Deliver and fit equipment, ensuring that functional goals established at the evaluation are met; provide thorough training and education to clients, families, and caregivers on safe and effective use, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Complete and maintain accurate, detailed documentation pertaining to client interactions in a timely manner.
- Attain and exceed annual sales goals and objectives as established at the beginning of each fiscal year; regularly review and report on sales calls, outcomes, and opportunities.
- Maintain all certifications and licenses, and obtain required continuing education annually to assure no lapse in coverage.
- Maintain eligibility status with vendor systems as required to assure continuous access to facilities.
- Stay informed of funding requirements and the wide variety of Numotion contracted products while understanding advances in Rehab Technology.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
- Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform with integrity, compliance, and values aligned with Numotion’s mission.
- Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times and offer solutions for customer concerns, keeping customer service as a top priority.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification.
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to generate appropriate, individualized recommendations for CRT equipment and interventions.
- Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum one (1) year experience with complex rehabilitation technology.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently and effectively.
- Experience selling DME equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical conditions impacting mobility (e.g., spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke).
- Comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation equipment (power/manual wheelchairs, seating systems, adaptive controls, and other assistive devices).
- Understanding of funding processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).
