Overview
Store Support role at The Home Depot. Position purpose:
Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions, including ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction may be required. These roles help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and require cooperation with other Associates, vendors, carriers, and employees, with the ability to work with limited supervision.
They should be detail-oriented with proven time management skills and demonstrate integrity at all times while supporting store-specific business objectives and key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Assist customers in person or in the lot and support order fulfillment processes.
- Answer customer questions on product order status and direct customers to store departments or merchandise as needed.
- Handle cash management or program compliance tasks as applicable.
- Collaborate with other Associates, vendors, and carriers to support store operations.
- Operate with little to some supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Detail-oriented with proven time management skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and respond to operational concerns.
- Strong integrity and focus on customer satisfaction and store objectives.
