The Lead Team Member maintains a clean, well‑organized store and fosters a customer‑first culture by performing the following duties:

• Provides superior customer service to exceed expectations.
• Models product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized store environment.
• Assists in merchandising the store, displays, product rotation.
• Completes daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities.
• Maintains store condense and reset standards.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Operates cash register and scanner for transactions.
• Assists customers in self‑checkout process.
• Cleans store, manages trash, dusts, mops, cleans restroom.
• Opens and closes store under direction of Team Leader.
• Additional duties as needed in absence of Team Leader or Assistant.

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Cash register operation skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience (or related) preferred.

• Frequent walking and standing.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Handling merchandise and equipment (scanners, pricing guns, dolly, etc.).
• Frequent lifting up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 55 lbs.
• Occasional climbing (using ladder).
• Drive own vehicle for deposits and training.
• Fast‑paced environment; moderate noise.
• Exposure to scents, weather, wet surfaces, cleaning solutions.
