Join Excel Pediatric Therapy as a Patient Experience Ambassador and become the welcoming face of a clinic that's redefining pediatric care! Based at our clinic in Rockwall
, our family-focused, interdisciplinary clinic provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy to children — and our front office team plays a huge role in that experience.

As a Patient Experience Ambassador, you'll be the first point of contact for families, helping to create a smooth, friendly, and supportive environment from the very first hello. You'll handle front desk responsibilities, guide families through the intake process, support scheduling, and serve as a critical link between our clinical team and the people we serve. • Full-time
• Monday - Thursday
• 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Lunch 12:15 - 1:00)

• Greet families with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming and child-friendly environment
• Manage patient check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and efficiency
• Guide new families through the intake process, collecting and entering demographic, insurance, and consent forms
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide timely, friendly communication to caregivers and referring providers
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient scheduling and clear communication between staff and families
• Verify insurance benefits and assist families with questions related to coverage, copays, and authorizations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
• Help manage daily clinic flow, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure families feel seen and supported at every step
• Support general office duties such as scanning, filing, supply organization, and light tidying of front desk area
• Contribute to a positive team environment aligned with Excel's mission and values

• Previous experience in a medical front desk, patient intake, or customer service role strongly preferred
• Passion for working with families and children in a healthcare setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, friendly, and empathetic demeanor
• Comfortable with technology, including EMR systems, phone systems, and basic office software
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

PEA Salary Range

$35,000—$55,000 USD
