Overview
Texas Oncology is looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join our team at the Rockwall location. This is a full-time Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:00 pm position with no weekends or major holidays.

Long‑Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)The LTIP is an incentive program that vests over a three‑year period and is tied to individual performance and operational success. Awards are discretionary, reviewed annually, and subject to continued employment through the award payment date.
Responsibilities- Research and perform critical and statistical analysis of medical and scientific evidence as the basis for disease management guidelines and pharmacoeconomic comparisons of cancer therapies. >
- Direct implementation of drug management and process improvement programs.
- Oversee pharmacy services in accordance with governmental, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Develop departmental goals, policies, and procedures in consultation with administration.
- Prepare budgets and financial reports, monitor resource allocation, and inform staff of new drug regulations.
- Establish charging and billing procedures and assume responsibility for dispensing all medications.
- Develop drug purchasing systems, resolve internal coordination problems, and analyze operating reports.
- Takes corrective action as necessary and manages the selection, training, and orientation of departmental personnel.
- Initiate and promote staff development, assuring proper training of all admixture technicians and pharmacists.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper levels, pricing, and compliance with recalls and outages.
- Evaluate performance and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide education resources and consult with medical staff; participate in teaching and in‑service programs.
- Collect data, prepare reports, and answer correspondence for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and staff information.
- Perform all functions required of pharmacists and technicians as needed.
- Manage pharmacy staff including registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Develop pharmacoeconomic models for cancer treatment alternatives in coordination with the Corporate Office.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Minimum five years’ experience as a registered pharmacist, with at least two years of supervisory and management experience.
- Five years’ experience in a pharmacy with IV skills.
- Oncology background preferred.
- Prior experience in pharmacy management.
- Must possess a current Texas pharmacist license.
Job requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and ability to read and note measurements. Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods, occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs, and correct vision and hearing.
Work EnvironmentEmployee regularly exposed to direct contact with patients, potential exposure to toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and chemotherapeutic agents.
