As the UI Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements. You will work independently or as part of a team to design and implement user interface components supporting data‑intensive analytics, real‑time systems, and business applications.

You will review and test software for adherence to design requirements, resolve software issues, and apply appropriate development methodologies. You will also provide input to system design, including hardware and software trade‑offs, software reuse, and the use of COTS and GOTS solutions.

The annual base salary range for this role is $190,000–$225,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.

• Experience developing software in Python or Java
• Experience creating clear, interactive visualizations (e.g., drill‑down, time‑based, or dynamic views)
• Experience with data modeling, including normalization and working with metrics
• Experience building and maintaining web applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (e.g., MySQL or Postgre
  
  SQL)

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
