Software Developer; Python, Angular & JavaScript

Mid-level Software Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD.
This position is hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
Must be local to DC Metro area.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to develop user-centered designs that align with business goals.
• Perform technical review and resolve any technical challenges.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve the user experience.
• Work with software developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flows between front-end and back-end systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility standards are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-4 years of hands‑on experience with Python
• Testing Mindset:
  Experience with frameworks such as Karate or Playwright
• AWS services – Lambda & API Gateway
• Document‑based databases like MongoDB
• Knowledge of development best practices, usability testing, and accessibility standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular and JavaScript/Type Script
