ProgramsOverview
The Services to End and Prevent Homelessness (SEPH) mission is to make homelessness a rare, brief, and non‑recurring event by operating from a Housing First philosophy. SEPH provides a full continuum of services, including housing stabilization, homeless diversion, and permanent housing, and collaborates with public and private partners through the Interagency Commission on Homelessness.
The Housing Stabilization Program empowers Montgomery County residents to secure stable housing. The program offers prevention case management to identify needs and refer residents to resources such as tenant rights, financial literacy, employment, behavioral health, and, when eligible, funds to support housing stability.
Who We Are Looking ForThe Homeless Services for Families (HSF) program within SEPH is recruiting a frontline caseworker to provide direct support to families experiencing homelessness. The Client Assistance Specialist (CAS) plays a critical role in assisting families in identifying safe, stable permanent housing options, connecting with employment opportunities, financial assistance, and supportive services. Through housing‑focused case management, the CAS develops individualized, housing‑focused plans that support SEPH’s commitment to ensuring homelessness is rare, brief and non‑recurring.
